The Bible was never meant to be reduced to mere study and analysis. It is designed to be lived, to take us on a personal discovery of reality. Let the characters of the Bible be your intimate mentors, and you a humble student. Options for reading or listening to the Bible online:

A.W. Tozer has been my favorite author ever since reading his famous book Pursuit of God. I can’t recommend Tozer to you as eloquently as his peers, so read a few of their comments:
If a sermon can be compared to light, then A.W. Tozer released a laser beam from the pulpit, a beam that penetrated your heart.” — Warren Wiersbe, Author
Tozer is one the great Christian writers of this century . Reading him is like drinking at an oasis in the desert.” — Dr. J.I. Packer, Regent College, Vancouver, Canada

Malcolm is great at making the Bible plain. In this message he contrasts religion with the life Jesus brings.
Miracle In Darien by Dr. Terry Fullam, 55 minutes
A first-hand account of spiritual transformation at a dying church, as it learned what it means for Christ to be the head of the church. There is a wide gap between the Bible’s definition of the church and our understanding of the church. Consider these three passages in the New Testament that describe the church:
Ephesians 1:22,23…God placed all things under [Christ’s] feet and appointed Him to be the head over everything for the church which is His body.
Ephesians 4:15,16…[Christ is the head] from Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.
1 Corinthians 12:12, 27…the body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body… Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is part of it.
